April 10th, 2009I’m in the process of developing my new website. Here’s a sneak peak on how the About page could look. I will try to add some cool animation to spice up the page.

polyvore.com
March 21st, 2009OMG… have you ever heard of polyvore? I was looking through Hostess blog and came across this posting for polyvore.com. The article was saying that when you plan a party it’s a great idea to start planning with an inspiration board. Most people without formal graphic design training don’t know where to start on creating one of these boards. This is why Polyvore is so useful. You can build one on the fly and change it online. Pretty awesome~
I guess you can get images and color schemes you like online and then the website will build a collage for you~
I’ll have to sign up and see how it works~ I’ll keep you posted

Dad’s 60th Birthday Favor Tags
March 21st, 2009It’s my dad’s 60th birthday on March 18th, 2008. The 60th birthday is supposed to be special in Korean traditions. However, my parents told us that people live longer these days so they changed the special birthday to the 80th.
My sister and I still wanted to make his 60th a little more special than any other birthday so we are making favors and tags. Above is an example of some of the tags I came up with. What do you think? Not sure if it looks cheesy…. yikes!

Chaotic
March 21st, 2009I was hired at Epic Cycle to join a team of designers and engineers to work on this online Flash children’s trading card game. Although there were politics and other competition involved in all the final decisions that were made in towards the end, It was such an honor to be apart of such a great product and team. We were building a flash game like non other, extending flash to it’s limits. Just awesome!

Blue Canvas Photo Gallery
March 21st, 2009I did some freelance work for a good friend of mine, Justin Yun and his partners. Their company is called Blue Canvas. I built the photo gallery for their User Profile page. They needed something quick so they purchased the TN2 Gallery from Flash loaded. I configured the component and built the view all section using XML- driven Data and Actionscript 2.0
What is Blue Canvas: “bluecanvas.com is all about serving the art community. We hope to stay consistent with the dedication and the vibrance of this wonderful community of art and make constant efforts to provide improvements for the enhancement of your usability and visibility in this site.”
